A change to the format of the 2017 IRC Nationals at Bay of Islands Sailing Week will make it more appealing than ever for smaller keelboats to take part.

A fleet of fourteen boats turned out for the North Sails Hartley 16 North Islands at Lake Ngaroto in Te Awamutu. Good breeze on both days saw some extremely close racing and even closer finishes.
Sixteen sailors took part in this regatta at Evans Bay Yacht & Motorboat Club. The conditions were a light North to Nor-east winds with lots of blank spots making it a very challenging course for all competitors.
Four Hansa 303s turned out for the Sailability Regatta at Lake Ngaroto in Te Awamutu on 12-13 November. There was plenty of wind over the two-day regatta which is always good at Ngaroto.
