Yachting New Zealand is delighted to announce Finn Croft (Takapuna Boating Club) and George Gautrey (Muritai Yacht Club) as the recipients of the 2015 St John’s Rotary Scholarship.

The growth and development of the OK Dinghy class worldwide features highly in the brand new international class magazine, which was re-launched in May 2015 after a 40 year hiatus.

It’s time to submit again – the deadline is 6 June! 

The New Zealand Team Sailing Association is seeking expressions of interest from any clubs who may wish to host and assist in running the Secondary Schools Team Sailing Nationals in 2017. 

The NZL Sailing Team has won three medals at 2015 Delta Lloyd Regatta for Olympic and Paralympic classes which wrapped overnight in Medemblik, the Netherlands.

Marcus Hansen and Josh Porebski (pictured Sander van der Borch) secured silver in the 49er skiff, Josh Junior taking bronze in the Finn and New Zealand’s Nacra 17 pair Gemma Jones and Jason Saunders also took bronze.

Maritime VHF Operators Course @ Weiti Boating Club. The 31st edition of the Delta Lloyd Regatta is very popular in the sailingworld. Over 700 boats will be in Medemblik on the water from 26th to 30th May. Competitors from 74 different nationalities travelled to the Dutch town to compete the next five days in the ten Olympic and three Paralympic classes.

You may have made a submission to Auckland Council in April… now the Devonport Takapuna Local Board wants your views on how the land on the Northern end of Takapuna Beach (the Northern Reserve including the Campground) should be used.
