The 2013 Yachting New Zealand Annual General Meeting will see changes to the YNZ Board of Directors including Rodger Kerr-Newell stepping into the role of President, and two new Board Directors.
The 2013 49er and 49erFX World Championships continued in Marseille, France, with New Zealand crews now sitting in 3rd and 4th in the 49er and in 10th in the 49erFX.
Despite light and tricky sailing conditions of only four to five knots on day two of the six day regatta Peter Burling and Blair Tuke managed consistency across all three races sailed to lift their overall standing up to 4th drawing equal on points to team-mates Marcus Hansen and Josh Porebski who also produced three solid results.

Tomorrow is the day. The last day of the 34th America’s Cup.
After 18 races the two teams are on eight points and tomorrow will race on San Francisco Bay for the 9th point – the one that will win them the America’s Cup.
Northland and Auckland Yacht Club members have an opportunity to meet Yachting New Zealand Chief Executive David Abercrombie.
