The NZL Sailing Team continued their good form into day two of the ISAF Sailing World Cup Hyeres Regatta where over 1100 Olympic class sailors from 59 nations are competing.
At 1:00pm on Tuesday, 22nd April 2014, nineteen-year-old New Zealander Cory McLennan will make history by becoming the youngest person ever to attempt the Solo Trans-Tasman Challenge yacht race.

New Zealand has won a mass of medals at the RYA Youth National Championships Regatta which wrapped up on Friday 18th April in Weymouth, UK.
The contingent of young kiwis collected one gold, two silver and two bronze medals across the range of skiff, double-handed and single-handed classes.
Day three of the Toyota National Optimist Championships started well with a 10-12 knot breeze but as predicted the breeze built throughout the morning and by lunchtime the skies darkened and we were treated to an intense squall of rain and wind peaking at 36 knots.

Kerikeri Cruising Club finished the Learn-to-Sail part of their season with a treasure hunt and certificates hand out after another very successful year marked by fine weather and an excellent turn out of parents and younger sailors.
