Yachting New Zealand was once again at the Hutchwilco Boatshow with two stands, attended by over 35000 people over the 4 days; this is a growth of 5% on last year. 

The NZL Sailing Team’s busy month at six Olympic class world championships have come to a close overnight as Sara Winther placed 34th in the Laser Radial.

Jo Aleh and Olivia (Polly) Powrie have finished fourth at the 470 World Championships which ended overnight in Barcelona, Spain.

A lack of wind on the final day of the Finn Gold Cup left  the NZL Sailing Team’s Dan Slater ranked 16th at the end of the 2012 Finn World Championship in England.

On the second to last day of full racing at their 2012 World Championships, the NZL Sailing Team’s Jo Aleh and Polly Powrie confirmed their rank going into tomorrow’s final two gold fleet races, and Dan Slater took three steps up the Finn Gold Cup leade

Boat owners with a 2011/2012 handicap (IRC or PHRF) should have received a revalidation package in the mail, as all handicaps expire on 31st May.
