How did you get into sailing?
My older brother was sailing and I wanted to prove I could beat him!

What is your favourite food after a long day on the water?
Steak-and-cheese pie.

Where is your favourite place to sail?
Kohimarama.

What is your favourite thing to do when not sailing?
Surfing and going to the gym.

Who are your role models?
Liv Mackay, Molly Meech and Jo Aleh.

What is the best thing about sailing your youth class boat?
It's fast and challenging.

What do you hope to achieve in sailing in the next 12 months?
I hope to do my best in Europe this year and hopefully get selected [for the youth worlds again] next year, so I can improve on this year's result. 

How will you prepare for the youth sailing world championships?
We will be training every weekend and doing the 29er nationals in  May. Then, we'll head to Europe early to do the Euros in Poland. In my spare time, I will be going to the gym.

What are your sailing career goals?
I'd like to represent New Zealand at the Olympics in a 49erFX.

What was the proudest moment of your sailing to date?
Being the first girl to win the Naomi James Trophy [for first female at the Tauranga Cup] three times.
