How did you get into sailing?
I started sailing in a Sunburst with my dad off Birkenhead Yacht Club when I was 8, and the occasional race off Wakatere on the weekends

What is your favourite food after a long day on the water?
Burger or a pie.

Where is your favourite place to sail?
Gdynia, Poland.

What is your favourite thing to do when not sailing?
Wingfoiling or football with mates.

Who are your role models?
My mum and dad, Brownie [Andrew Brown] and my coaches.

What is the best thing about sailing your youth class boat?
The tight racing and technical aspects of the 420 make competing in regattas and training exciting as there is always something to learn and improve on. Also being able to sail with Cam.

What do you hope to achieve in sailing in the next 12 months?
I hope to perform to the best of my ability at the youth worlds in Garda and the Europeans in Slovenia whilst having fun on and off of the water.

How will you prepare for the youth sailing world championships?
Lots of training on the water with a range of great coaches and Tessa and Jess, and getting everything prepared off the water so that we have no issues when we arrive in Garda.

What are your sailing career goals?
Continue to push myself as hard as I can and continue to compete at as high a level as possible whilst having fun out on the water.

What was the proudest moment of your sailing to date?
Getting 27th at the 420 junior Europeans in Poland in 2023 and then 25th at the worlds in Alicante two weeks later. This was a satisfying result as this was my first worlds and Europeans and we were expecting to be around silver fleet but managed to get several top-three placings across the regattas.
