Sailability Wellington is proud to announce that they will be hosting the 2015 Hansa Class National Championships and Kiwi Cup at Lowry Bay in Wellington over Wellington Anniversary Weekend (17th – 19th January 2015). The New Zealand Hansa Class Nationals is open to all sailors, however only sailors/crews with a disability classifiable under the IFDS classification system will be eligible to compete for the Kiwi Cup.
The Notice of Race can be found online at http://sailability-wellington.org.nz/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/Kiwi-Cup-NOR-2015-Final.pdf and the entry form is also online at http://sailability-wellington.org.nz/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/Kiwi-Cup-2015-Entry-Form.pdf .
Entries close on the 10th of January 2015. Late entrys after this date may be accepted at the discretion of the race committee, however a late fee penalty of $50 will apply.
There is an added incentive to enter early, as Tim Dempey of The Agency (the Hansa Sailing authorised distributor for New Zealand) has announced that $25 from every set of sails sold will go towards paying one lucky sailors entry fee and travel expenses. To be eligible sailors must enter the Nationals before the 10th of January, be living in NZ and they will need to be current members of the NZHCA.
