The world's best radio controlled boat operators are heading Down Under in November for the world championships to be hosted by the Royal Akarana Yacht Club.
Wind Warriors are a fun, informal radio controlled fleet and will compete at Akarana on November 18-20.
As well as the individual world title, the best club trophy, interdominion trophy and Australasia match racing trophy will also be up for grabs.
And for those who might be feeling a bit rusty, the Auckland champs will be held on October 16 at Westhven Marina and national championships on November 6 at Akarana.
There is a heavy emphasis on the social element alongside the racing, with the entry fee also including tickets to dinner on the first night dinner as well as a barbecue lunch on the Sunday. The bar will also be open throughout.
