No plans for Waitangi Weekend, come and join Weiti Boating Club up in Whangaparoa for the annual race to Fitzroy Harbour. Race starts 9am on Friday 6th February.
COURSE:
Start: Arkles Bay
Course: Tiri Island to starboard
Finish: A line between 36.11.167 S, 175.17.672 E and 36.11.616 S, 175.18.228 E
Distance: Approximately 39nm
There will be a pre-race briefing on Thursday 5th February, 7.30 p.m. at the Weiti BC Clubhouse. At least one crew member from each boat must attend the briefing to be eligible to compete.
At Great Barrier, a BBQ will be held at 5.00 p.m. on Sunday 3rd February. Location to be advised on the day depending on weather conditions. All entrants, other WBC members and their guests are warmly invited. Day prizes will be awarded at this BBQ.
FEES: $25. Closing date for race entry: 5th February 2015
