This regatta was held at Pauri Lake near Wanganui on Saturday in overcast breezy conditions. Six schools took part from Okoia, Westmere, Fordell, Kaitoki, Wanganui Intermediate and St Georges. Sailing in teams of three Optimists.
The results were:
Education Services Teams Trophy:
Fordell School 1st (Purple); St Georges 2nd (White); and Wanganui Intermediate 3rd (Orange).
Walker & Thomas Relay Trophy:
Fordell School 1st ; St Georges 2nd ; and Wanganui Intermediate 3rd equal with Westmere.
There was a tie between St Georges and Fordell, but Fordell won the sail off to take both trophies.

The Education Services cup is presented to the winning team of George, Joe and Georgina by Sailing Wanganui’s Commodore Andrew Montgomery.
