Olympic silver medallists Peter Burling and Blair Tuke have plenty on this year, including a return to international competition after their 2016 campaign announcement, as well as heading to San Francisco for the inaugural Red Bull Youth America’s Cup along with five other young kiwi men this September.
But before all of that Blair decided to squeeze in another offshore race signing on with Auckland yacht V5 for the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron’s 2013 Auckland to Fiji Race.
The fleet left Auckland last Saturday at noon in a light to moderate breeze.
