This drill can be set up for a group or for sailors by themselves. For this drill there are 4 marks and 4 boats.
Have a rolling countdown, every minute there is a start.
Boats must start as close to the mark, as though the mark was the Committee Boat and they wanted to win the right hand side of the start.
For the minute between starts they loose speed, circle and move down to the next mark. If starting at mark 1, next start is 2, then 4, then back to mark 1.
After starting at mark 4 they must sail over the top of the start line and re-start at mark 1.
To make the starts more hectic, have 2 boats at each mark and they must fight each other for the closest position to the mark.
