The annual South Island Regional Meeting is set to take place at the Christchurch Yacht Club on Saturday May 28th. The get together is a great opportunity to network with other South Island Clubs, exchange ideas and solutions.
Clubs are invited to register up to two representatives and are encouraged to send your Racing Secretary and a Flag Officer.
Where: Christchurch Yacht Club.
When: Saturday 28 May 2016
Time: 11:00am to 4:00pm approximately
Stuart Thomas, Yachting New Zealand Youth Coordinator and Danika Mowlem, Yachting New Zealand Programmes & Services Coordinator, will be attending and a light lunch will be provided and the bar will be open following the meeting.

- Club Introductions and short report from each Club / Issues / Highlights / Successes
- South Island and Major events prioritizing
- National Championship events rotation
- Sailing Calendar Coordination
- Volvo Sailing… Have a Go! and development of the program in the South - Danika Mowlem
- Youth Development and how it can be better implemented in the South, in coordination with Yachting New Zealand - Stuart Thomas
- Issues and Obstacles for South Island Clubs
- Other issues and ideas that can be shared
