With Sir Ben Ainslie and Artemis Racing already part of the SOS story, SOS Rehydrate is building quite a following in the professional sailing community.
To complement our current champions SOS is really pleased to be the official rehydration drink of the NZL sailing Team with ETNZ Red Bull Youth Americas Cup entry and welcome them into our champions hall of fame.
22 year old Peter Burling leads the seven-man NZL Sailing Team with ETNZ set to go up against nine other teams in the inaugural Red Bull Youth America’s Cup taking centre stage on San Francisco Bay from 1-4 September – the window between the Louis Vuitton Challenger Series and the 34th America’s Cup.
Burling’s crew features four other current Olympic class campaigners including his 49er crew Blair Tuke, plus Laser sailors Sam Meech and Andy Maloney, as well as Jason Saunders who has switched from the Men’s 470 into the new Olympic multihull discipline. Jono Spurdle and Guy Endean round out the team bringing match racing and keelboat racing experience to the group.
