“LiteClub” is an initiative of a charitable trust called Litefoot, an organization lead by sports stars including Barbara Kendall. Essentially, this is a programme for clubs to install free energy saving products like light bulbs and insulation to help clubs save money.
They also write a detailed report setting out how the club may further improve efficiency.
There are no catches- it’s an entirely free service for sports clubs made possible by funding from government and trusts.
LiteClub also creates an opportunity for clubs to raise money. Through LiteClub’s partnerships with providers of energy efficient equipment (light bulbs, insulation etc), LiteClub and sports clubs can work together to offer club members these products and services for their own homes. For each purchased product or service, the providers will make a cash donation to that member’s club.
