Queen Charlotte Yacht Club invites and welcomes you to the largest centerboard regatta in the South Island.
Saturday 20th to Sunday 21st February, Picton, Marlborough.
The Organising Authority is Queen Charlotte Yacht Club.
Run in conjunction with the Interislander Optimist Challenge, this annual event gives Starling Sailors the chance to sail on the challenging waters of Queen Charlotte Sounds while the Optimst sailors are competing in the NZIODA Ranking Regatta.
Taste Malborough
Parents, the 'Taste of Marlborough' will be held at the completion of Friday's Optimist Racing where QCYC invites you to join us in sampling some of the local specialities of fine Wine, fresh seafood, oils and breads and enjoying the ambience of one of NZ's friendliest yacht clubs.
Following tradition, the firing of the cannon will signify the start of the event before Optimist Open Racing on Friday the 19th.
The Interislander are offering great discounts for sailors and families to get across the Cook Strait . Transport can be arranged to and from the ferry in Picton.
