PIC Coastal Classic Update - Be in to win nearly $4,000 in B&G electronics

Issue date

You've got to be in it to win it, as they say. And when you enter this year's PIC Coastal Classic, you're going to be in to win BIG, thanks to B&G.

The world leaders in marine instruments have come to the party in style yet again, putting up nearly $4,000-worth of electronic gear as spot prizes. The prizes will be given away to two randomly-drawn skippers at the prizegiving ceremony in Russell.

B&G prizes to be won at this year's
PIC Coastal Classic include:

A Zeus2 7" chartplotter
worth $2,499

The B&G Zeus2 is an easy to use, ultra-responsive chartplotter designed specifically for sailors. Packed with exclusive sailing features, it has a bright, 7-inch LED backlit display with multi-touch ‘pinch-to-zoom’ interaction, supplying dedicated sailing data at the tip of your finger.

A Vulcan 7" chartplotter
worth $1,499

B&G's new Vulcan is a 7-inch sailing chartplotter with multi-touch, pinch-to-zoom and built-in Wi-Fi. The Vulcan 7 integrates with your on board instruments, so you can view crucial sailing data all on one screen, or overlaid on your chart.

B&G's Michael Blackwell is pleased to be sponsoring the PIC Coastal Classic once again, and had this to say: "The PIC Coastal Classic is a fantastic event and a key part of Auckland's sailing calendar. The often testing conditions of the Hauraki Gulf and the greater New Zealand coastline demand much of skipper and crew. B&G is designed by sailors specifically for sailors and we understand the challenges each competitor faces."

We'll be announcing the entire prize pool soon, and it's expected to be well into the tens of thousands, giving you even more good reasons to get your entry in for this year's PIC Coastal Classic. It's shaping up to be a great race once again, so what do you say - are you going to join us?
