The NZL Sailing Team and Maersk Line are together putting on a Sausage Sizzle at Oceanbridge Sail Auckland, free for all competitors, volunteers and sponsors of the event. From 4:00pm (after racing) on Monday Februrary 3rd, you are invited to join the NZL Sailing Team for some casual food and drink at the Royal Akarana Yacht Club.
Oceanbridge Sail Auckland is the only opportunity every year that the NZL Sailing Team race together in home waters, providing the rare chance for New Zealanders to race against the country’s best Olympic Class sailors. This opportunity to interact with the team in a more relaxed, off the water environment, is made possible only thanks to Maersk Line, a long time supporter of the NZL Sailing Team and sponsor to Yachting New Zealand.
On display at the club will be results and a selection of images from the regatta to date, which is due to head into the final day of racing on Tuesday February 4th.
Oceanbridge Sail Auckland expects to host up to 200 competitors from more than ten countries, and amongst them will be World Champions, National Champions and the next generation of the NZL Sailing Team.
