The 64th annual general meeting of Yachting New Zealand will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at the Otago Yacht Club in Dunedin.
The closing date for notices is 5pm, Monday September 3.
In accordance with the current constitutional requirements:
- Notice of any proposed alteration or addition to the constitution, or any proposed motion shall be sent to the chief executive not later than 40 days before the said meeting.
- Notice of any alteration or addition to the constitution, or any proposed motion, may be proposed by the board or any voting member of Yachting New Zealand.

Nominations for the elected board members shall be sent to the chief executive not later than 40 days before the said meeting, using the approved nomination form

Nominations for the board of directors are to be received in writing to the chief executive by two member clubs. There are two elected vacancies for the board of which one is for president. They will be elected as per article 14.2, 14.3 & 14.5 of the Yachting New Zealand constitution; the retiring directors (Angus Haslett and Jenny de Lisle) intend standing for re-election.

Notice of any other business to be considered at the annual general meeting, not covered by the above, shall be sent to the chief executive not later than 40 days before the said meeting
