Auckland is known is as the City of Sails and nestled on the shores of it’s beautiful Hauraki Gulf is the Murrays Bay Sailing Club (MBSC). With some of the best sailing waters in the country the club has a proud history and enviable track record of producing performance sailors. The clubs history is rich with names of sailors recognised through national championships, Volvo Ocean Race, America’s Cup and the Olympics. Just as importantly we promote the sport of sailing, encourage young people to test themselves, learn new skills and develop a passion for sailing for life. Our aim is to continue this outstanding track record for the club.

Whilst the primary focus of the club is on junior sailors we also have a strong fleet of Zephyr dinghies sailed by our more mature sailors. We are also currently looking at other programmes in the short to medium term to meet the requirement of the community we service such as an adult LTS program.
