Long-standing Safety and Technical Officer for Yachting New Zealand, Michael Churchouse is handing over the reins after close to nine years in the role.
Michael is provided outstanding service to Yachting New Zealand during his time with the organisation, overseeing the Safety Inspectors and Safety Regulations.
David Abercrombie, Chief Executive says, “Michael has offered advice and expertise to many yachties and boaties over the years as well as coordinating Inspector Conferences and keeping the Inspector community up to date with the latest information. We wish him all the very best in his retirement.”
Michael’s final day in the Yachting New Zealand office will be Tuesday 14th October.
Angus Willison has been appointed to take over as Yachting New Zealand Safety and Technical Officer.
