I am the new Coach Development Manager taking over the reins from Laurie Jury.
It is an exciting opportunity for me to introduce myself to the yachting world and hopefully I will be able to meet and work with many of you as we go forward. I am looking forward to being able to give back to a sport which I am passionate about, and help out other coaches around the country to share knowledge, gain ideas, and enjoy what we do.
We already have a number of ideas that we are working with, some of which are underway, such as upcoming workshops and forums. Check out the course calendar for details
I hope to be able to bring some fresh ideas to the coaching space within yachting and please feel free to contact me in regards to any concerns, ideas or questions you may have.
I am originally from the UK having completed the Opti squad program over there before moving to New Zealand in 2007, where I sailed junior classes, 470, and now competitively race Paper Tigers. I am into all water sports, including kitesurfing, paddle boarding, wake boarding etc.
