New Zealand’s only ISAF Grade 1 Olympic and Paralympic Class regatta is just three weeks away: from 2-5 February 2013, Oceanbridge Sail Auckland will take place on the Waitemata Harbour.
This year, Oceanbridge Sail Auckland will be the launch pad for new campaigns of the NZL Sailing Team’s recent Olympic Medallists who aim to do it again for 2016; Jo Aleh/ Polly Powrie and Peter Burling/ Blair Tuke have already registered. Also for the first time in New Zealand, the new Olympic women’s 49er FX will be raced competitively.
Did you know that NZ boasts the #1 world ranked 49er FX team: Alex Maloney and Molly Meech? Come check them out (a rare opportunity to see this action on home waters) at this International Olympic and Paralympic Class regatta.
