Make sure your club is being promoted properly

Issue date

Yachting New Zealand are upgrading our website.

The Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron offer adult learn to sail courses and this information is captured on the Yachting New Zealand website. Photo: RNZYS

Part of this is helping better connect people who want to learn to sail with clubs. We want to make sure we have up-to-date information about what your club offers to give people the best information and to help connect more people to clubs.

This includes a brief bio on your club, whether you offer learn to sail classes, and whether this is in dinghies or keelboats. Often people approach Yachting New Zealand asking where they can hire boats to take for a sail. If your club does, then we can help send these people your way.

A link to collect this information was sent to clubs in February.

To date, the clubs below are yet to provide any information, which means what people are seeing is old information.

If you could take two minutes to fill in the survey, this will ensure we can give people the best information when people come to us. To get the link to the survey, please email Andrew Clouston (andrew@yachtingnz.org.nz)
