Yachting New Zealand is looking to employ two qualified sailing instructors for the 2016/2017 Volvo Sailing…Have a Go! programme. The Central Region involves travel from Waikato to Wellington. The Southern Region covers the whole South Island. This is a contract position commencing late September 2015 and continuing through until mid-April 2016.
Volvo Sailing…Have a Go! is all about giving children the opportunity to experience the thrills and spills of sailing. Therefore a creative, fun and energetic personality along with experience teaching children the basics of sailing is a must!
A willingness to travel away from home and an ability to self-manage are prerequisite.
We are looking for a coach/instructor that has a good depth of experience working with brand new sailors and has a proven track record of delivering safe and successful programmes.
Please note that only people with Sailing Coaching qualifications/experience and a right to reside and work in New Zealand should apply.
