The RNZYS Harken Schools Regatta starts this Friday with a full complement of 20 teams!
The schools have been split into two groups Qualifying A will race Friday and Qualifying B Saturday, up to six races are scheduled for each.
Then the top five will go through to the Gold fleet and the rest into the Silver fleet for racing on Sunday.
The Schools;
Qualifying A: Auckland Grammar A, Kristin School A, Wentworth College, Botany Downs Secondary School, Hutt International Boys School, Nelson College, Diocesan School for Girls, Mount Albert Grammar, St. Kentigern College, Albany Senior High School.
Qualifying B: Auckland Grammar B, Kings College, St. Cuthberts College, Kristin School B, Mahurangi College, Glendowie College, KeriKeri High, Rangitoto College, Pakuranga College, Westlake Boys High School.
Event Manager, Sara Tucker said “It’s exciting to see so many teams this year, the event has really grown! Special thanks to Harken New Zealand for supporting this event since its inception. We always look forward to this weekend, it’s always so much fun for us and great promotion for the youth training programme”.
