Yachting New Zealand is on board with the Auckland On Water Boat Show this year offering show visitors the chance to try out sailing.
On-site from 29-2 October at Auckland’s Viaduct Harbour, the Yachting New Zealand team will be giving people an opportunity to get out sailing with a Yachting New Zealand skipper on one of our Topper Omega sailing dinghies.
We can help you find out more about learning the basics, becoming a regular sailor or joining a club.
Sessions will be running from 10.30am to 4.00pm each day between 29 September and 2 October.
There are no pre-bookings necessary, so just turn up and put your name down for the next available slot. You can find us adjacent to the lifting bridge and in front of the old Emirates Team New Zealand base.
The experience is for ages five-years and up, with those between five and eight years of age needing to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Lifejackets will be provided. As always with sailing, there’s a chance you might get wet!
Yachting New Zealand are excited to be part of the show this year and to be introducing more people to sailing and boating. So tell your friends and bring the family down for a fun-filled day! Kids under 15-years are FREE!
