Every year, the Inspiration Voyage on the Spirit of New Zealand gives the incredible opportunity for 30 young people with physical disabilities from all around the country to embark on a special 5-day voyage. For these extraordinary young people aged 15 to 20, nothing can hold them back.
Made possible by the generous sponsorship of the Lions Club of New Zealand, spearheaded by the Karori Lions Club, the Spirit of Adventure Trust is able to cover the costs of all travel to and from Queens Wharf Wellington, and the cost being $400. Supported by our experienced buddies in a unique team environment, trainees encourage each other to overcome challenges and face their fears.
Whether it be climbing the mast or jumping in for the morning swim, all can be conquered on board the Spirit of New Zealand. Unbreakable friendships are forged and life-experiences will stay with our trainees forever. The impact of these 5 days on board is seen throughout all who join us, and spaces are still available for the 2013 Inspiration Voyage.
