Yachting New Zealand is pleased that 20 affiliated yacht clubs have signed up within a month of launching the Member Card and we encourage others to get on board before Christmas to ensure your members can make the most of the exclusive discount offers available.
Yachting New Zealand’s Chief Executive is pleased with the early uptake. “20 clubs are so far participating in the Member Card scheme and individual members of those clubs will receive their card soon, if it has not already arrived,” explains David Abercrombie.
“The associated Yachting New Zealand mobile app has been launched and is available for anyone to download from your preferred app store. The exclusive discount offers available to card holders will be accessible via a secure login screen of the app – coming soon! These include special deals on hotels, fuel, travel and more.”
The Member Card and app (with extra login rights) are available for affiliated clubs that agree to share their membership information with Yachting New Zealand (this will not be shared with any other organisation) and access to the extensive range of benefits is by using a unique Yachting New Zealand identification number.
Yachting New Zealand’s Coordinator for the Member Card Project is Julie Sutherland, and she is on hand to answer any questions or concerns you might have.
“Welcome on board to the 20 Clubs that have now signed up - to date we have almost 3000 members participating,” says Julie. “Thank you for all the effort you have put into sending me your details and we look forward to welcoming further clubs on board soon.”
