In support of growing the competition and national participation levels of disabled sailors at Oceanbridge Sail Auckland, Yachting New Zealand is offering an entry fee rebate for out of Auckland sailors in the Hansa 303 and Liberty classes.
New for 2014, this offering is intended to reduce financial barriers of kiwis travelling to this world class regatta. Yachting New Zealand is offering a reimbursement of entry fee to the following amounts:
- Whangarei and Northwards: $50
- Rotorua: $50
- Napier, New Plymouth and south of Taupo: $75
- Picton to Christchurch:$125
- South of Christchurch: $150
The rebate is offered per person and will be paid by YNZ to the sailor’s nominated bank account upon completion of the regatta. This incentive is offered to New Zealanders only.
Sailors in Paralympic Class boats are covered by the Travel Subsidy offered by Oceanbridge Sail Auckland Organizing Committee.
