Ewok and Brzo are having varying degrees of TLC at our paintshop in in Auckland. Interestingly some of the marks on each boat match each other!!!!!??
The Class Association has recently sold a rudder stock to Australia. We are working on design and pricing for the mainsheet posts, keel cranes and a few other new parts. An updated parts and price list will be coming shortly.
There is still some work happening on the new build programme but the guys have had a break to go cruising over summer.
E5.9 Caps
We will shortly be doing a run so $25 plus any postage gets you a E5.9 Cap. The available colours (see photo) are White (on the left - only 2 available) and Sand (on the right). The cap in the middle is the prototype and we don't have any more of that colour at present. We need 10 to make an economic order and we can do 20 max at this stage. Please let me know if you want one, in which colour and also say if you have a particular colour logo you want - or we'll choose. Note that the pricing is only for the first batch of up to 20 and future orders may be more expensive.

2013 Nationals and Notice of 2013 AGM
Entries are now open for the 2013 Nationals - 21-24 March 2013 to be heald as part of the 2013 Auckland Regatta (formerly BMW Auckland Regatta). From Nathan:
We almost have everything finalised now, so here is what we are 99% will happen.
Thursday 21/3/12
1-4pm Measuring and registration. (Not a big deal, just a boat weight and masurement of any new sails (at Half Moon Bay somewhere)
7pm briefing at the BBYC
Friday
10am first race (4 races)
Evening 7:00pm - 2013 Elliott 5.9 Owners Assn AGM at BBYC
Saturday
10am first race (4 races)
Afternoon - Steinlager beach party at Motuihe (we have a couple of tow boat organised for the 5.9's to take us from the course to the party and back to BBYC)
Sunday
10am first race (4 races)
Evening prize giving - I am unsure of the location of this yet.

We have Brzo and The Blurr entered that we know of so far and if expessions of interest are any indication it will be a big event. Others we know of so far include Ewok, Brilliant, Slam Dunk, Blownaway, Icebreaker.

2013 Travellers Series
Stay tuned for some details soon - we are awaiting a couple more dates of other events and are working on our venues and dates. The President is considering all angles while skiing somewhere near Tahoe City in the USA.
