Yachting New Zealand are pleased to announce the re-establishment of CIORC (Coastal, Inshore and Offshore Racing Committee).
The function of CIORC is to represent and further the interests of both competitive and recreational sailors in keelboats, trailer yachts and multihull yachts including promoting their safety. The committee is made up of a group of representatives from clubs around New Zealand who are passionate about sailing and committed to increasing racing fleet numbers nationwide.
The committee members are:

- Anna Gibbs
- David Roberts
- Logan Fraser
- Mark Mulcare
- Raynor Haagh
- Robert Shaw
- Robert Still
- Simon Manning
- Simon Hull
- Vicki Moore
At present the committee are working on a number of initiatives including:
- improving and enhancing the current PHRF system
- reviewing yacht safety regulations and inspection standards
