More than 200 competitors are expected at the 2018 Toyota Optimist Nationals hosted by the Queen Charlotte Yacht Club at the end of March.
The regatta is the biggest in the country in terms of participation numbers and interested sailors are encouraged to make travel and accommodation arrangements.
The national championships will take place from March 30 to April 3 and will be preceded by the pre-nationals (Interislander Optimist Regatta February 16-18). There will also be Optimist team sailing on either March 30 or 31, depending on the weather.
