This drill is designed to create situations for boats already on the start line, and others trying to find a space from the pin end.
Set a start line and lay a mark off the pin end.
Have a 3 minute countdown. With 30 seconds to go, the boat (or group of boats) at the pin end can sail into the start line to find a space and start on the gun.
The boats on the start line must defend their space, while the pin end approaching boats must fight for a space either below, above or in between the other boats.
