The Milford Cruising Club are hosting an art exhibition to raise funds for expansion of a club used by a host of community groups.
The exhibition, entitled Art at the Marina, will be on the weekend of April 7-8 and will feature a selection of artworks from 73 well-known and emerging New Zealand artists. See here for the full list.
There will be an indoor gallery, and outdoor art area and a cafe as well as an artist in residence and public entry is by gold coin donation.
The expansion project includes provision of a disabled liſt and toilets, an additional meeting room and increased boat storage for the club's junior and youth sailing programmes.
