Bucklands Beach Yacht Club has put out a call for yachties from all Auckland area clubs to head down to their waters to race in the PIC Insurance Winter Series 2013. The naming rights sponsor PIC Insurance is putting on a massive load of prizes, and they have discounted the entry fees to attract 'out of club' boats to take part.
Crews have a variety of options in choosing how to take part: either for the entire series (races each fortnight Sunday afternoons) or just the Windward Leeward or Harbour Course option, each are monthly. Either way, get your boats ready and come get amongst it at BBYC for a wicked series!
Here's the basic info you need to know...
- Dates: 12 May - 1 September 2013
- Runs every second Sunday
- Alternates Windward leeward racing and Harbour courses
- Entry Fee $100 for the entire series (13 races) or Harbour Races only $45, Windward Leeward only $70
- After each race, BBQ at the club with spot prizes
- Final Prizegiving: 29 September with OVER $5000 worth of prizes to be won!
- Registrations close 8 May 2013
