The 2013 Central Triangle Race starts from Wellington on 2nd March 2013 with the first leg of 195 nautical miles to Akaroa. Leg two takes the fleet 350 nautical miles north to Napier with the final 205 nautical mile leg taking the fleet back to Wellington.

Leg 1: Wellington to Akaroa- 195 nautical miles
Leg 2: Akaroa to Napier- 350 nautical miles
Leg 3: Napier to Wellington – 205 nautical miles
This is a category 2 modified event, run with both IRC and PHRF handicaps. It is open to all self-righting monohulls of not less than 8m hull length, and competitors must be born on or before 19 February 1995.
Each entrant crew member must have also have completed a qualifying voyage of 180nm or more non-stop, on open water, on the entered yacht.
