The 2012 Awards will recognise achievements taking place from
1st September 2011 – 31st August 2012, in the following categories;
- Sailor of the Year Award for the Sir Bernard Fergusson Trophy
- Young Sailor of the Year Award
- Coach/Official of the Year
- Emerging Talent Award
- Yachting New Zealand Service Awards (formerly known as the Honour Award)
- Yachting New Zealand Performance Awards (formerly known as the Merit Award)
- Yachting New Zealand Cruising Awards
- Yachting New Zealand Presidents Award
