Dr Tom is a man on a mission. In fact, he's been on a mission for most of his working career and he's keen to share the experience.
Tom Mulholland has been touring New Zealand in his retro Chevy ambulance of for the past three years, taking health and wellbeing to the people. He and his team have been measuring wellness through health checks and running workshops of healthy thinking.
In October he will embark on a mission to circumnavigate New Zealand in his power catamaran to take his messages and measure the health of people involved in the maritime industry.
He's planning on travelling clockwise around the country, stopping at 16 ports along the way before finishing in Auckland at the end of March.
Yachting New Zealand are thrilled to be supporting Dr Tom on his mission, and you can find out more about it at the HOPP (healthy oceans, people and ports) tour launch at the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron on September 3 (6pm). There will be drinks, music, a live auction and a presentation from Dr Tom - register interest to media@drtomonamission.com.
Dr Tom is New Zealand's leading wellbeing expert and has hosted his own TV and radio shows, written a weekly column in the Sunday Star Times and written two internationally best-selling books on healthy thinking.
