Top-three sailing accomplishments
1st woman at the 2023 Oceania and Australia wingfoiling nationals.
1st under-19 woman at the 2023 NZ windfoiling national championships.
2nd woman in free-fly slalom at the 2023 GWA wingfoiling world tour.

How did you get into sailing?
Both my parents are windsurfers and have a passion for sailing so I thought I’d give it a go  and see if I loved it.

What is your favourite food after a long day on the water?
I am always hungry after a long day on the water so any food that I have is amazing.

Where is your favourite place to sail?
Manly Sailing Club. It's the closest to home and there are always people out I can join

What is your favourite thing to do when not sailing?
Anything that involves the outdoors or the water, going on adventures, painting, crocheting, and making jewellery.

Who are your role models?
My biggest role model would have to be my mum, Barbara Kendall.

What is the best thing about sailing in your youth class?
The culture between the windfoilers and the amazing feeling of flying in the air at insane speeds.

What was the proudest moment of your sailing to date?
One of the proudest moments I have had sailing was this year in June/July when the
windfoiling youth squad went to America to compete in the USA youth nationals
and the US Olympic class regatta and I managed to come first for women in both. It
was a very happy moment and I was extremely proud that we travelled all the way
over and I won both competitions.

What do you hope to achieve in sailing in the next 12 months?
I hope that I will continue travelling and meeting amazing people across the world who
love the same sport I do. I hope that I can go to lots of different iQFOIL competitions around the world and start placing higher and higher.

How will you prepare for the 2023 youth sailing world championships?
By going out every day after school, going to regattas over the weekend to work
on racing strategies, and travelling to Hong Kong for two weeks before the youth
worlds to get some racing experience in big fleets.

What are your sailing career goals?
To keep travelling to international competitions and eventually make it to the 2028
Olympic Games.
